2025 Goose Island Reserve Imperial Stout - Aged in Parkers Heritage Rye Barrels.
This is a complex extra aged imperial stout. Most have one note of sweet and vanilla but the rye barrels seems to really elevate this beer. It’s sweet, spicy and chocolatey. This creeps up into the upper echelons of good BBS’s that I’ve had. Pick up if you see it.
