Appearance
light amber, short legs
Nose
spicy oak notes: wood spice, nutmeg, a little bit of cinnamon and pepper. Nice sweetness comes after that, with vanilla and brown sugar.
Mouthfeel
medium thickness, slightly oily/viscous. Appropriate for its age
Palate
sweet and dry. caramel, grape, fresh bright cherry. slight orange notes, a little spice of pepper.
Finish
dry oak and some tannins. you can tell there is some decent age on here compared to other wheater's of similar specs. slight tobacco and (no pun intended) antique musk.
Verdict
Weller Antique 107 is imo the king of value wheater's. I have tried a few different expressions and the oak and tannins you get from 107 are unmatched. WA107 is also my favorite expression from the Weller lineup. Great proof, taste and Price(if found for MSRP)
