Nose
barrel char, burnt oak, vanilla, tobacco, caramel, cherries, blood orange, WT Funk(attributing to Soy Sauce/Aged Soy Sauce type smell), and a slight nuttiness. Personifies the turkey profile in the best way.
Mouthfeel
It's very viscous and velvety. The juice coats your tongue well and makes you salivate. Wet mouth no dryness.
Palate
oranges, citrus, cherries, more umami dark soy sauce, stewed dark red fruit, char, leather, browned butter, dark caramel. It's very viscous and velvety. The juice coats your tongue well and makes you salivate. Wet mouth no dryness.
Finish
baking spice, leather, tobacco, pepper, licorice. This has a Good balanced heat that carries the flavors out through the finish very well. This juice leaves you wanting more.
Verdict
An incredible bottle—perfection in a glass, lightning in a bottle. One of the best I own alongside GTS. If you have the means, this is an auto buy. I believe in the magic of Camp Nelson.
